When Playing With One Former Teammate Didn’t Work Just Jump Ship To Another Ex Teammate

The NBA is already delivering with offseason drama. We have CP3 being traded to the Suns, rumors that Giannis is going to leave the Bucks and go to Miami. The newest juicy gossip is that Harden wants out of Houston, and wants to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets. You might know a few players that the Nets already have you know Joe Harris, Josh Allen, and oh how could I forget Kyrie Irving, and Kevin motherfucking Durant. The Nets are already favorited to win the Eastern Conference next year, and that is without them possibly getting James Harden.

The Rockets desperately wanted to keep Harden as they offered him 50 million a year. That’s right not a 50 million contract, but 50 million per year. Harden is currently on a 3 year year 133 million dollar contract, and the Rockets offered him a 2 year 103 million dollar extension. Somebody turning down 50 million a year is the biggest fuck you to an organization. How can you keep a player who publicly wants out, and refuses to take the biggest contract in NBA history?

Last year it was CP3 that was pushed out by Harden, and Harden was then reunited with his former teammate Russell Westbrook. Well a player who pads his stats, and a player who dribbles the ball for 17 straight seconds and then either jacks up a shot , or whips a pass to you with a few seconds left on the shot clock didn’t work out. Who would’ve thought that two extremely dominant ball handlers wouldn’t work together?

Harden sees that his window for a championship has been slammed shut in Houston. So what’s the next reasonable move? Clearly it’s to be a snake and slither his way towards his ex teammate Kevin Durant, and the Brooklyn Nets. He’s already seen Durant slither his way to Golden State, and that worked out pretty good. With 2 championships and 2 Finals MVP, Harden hopes that if he joins the Nets he can get the same results.
