Other NBA Players Who Would Be Great In The Boxing Ring
The entire world has seen Nate Robinson got knocked the fuck out by Jake Paul last night. There was an entire trend called the #NateRobinsonChallenge
Thankfully Nate Robinson is okay, so the entire internet can make fun of his piss poor boxing performance. Is this going to be a new thing where ex NBA players get into the boxing ring to fight influencers for a million dollars. If that is the case I want to see these NBA players fight in a real boxing match.
- James Johnson: This man is a legit fighter. He’s a second degree black belt in Karate, and is undefeated in his 7 MMA matches. I mean it’s not even fair to consider him a basketball player who might be a good fighter, he’s a fighter who can also beat the living fuck out of people easily.
- Ron Artest: Everyone remembers the Malice In The Palace where Ron Artest was throwing haymakers. This man jumped into the crowd and didn’t give a fuck if it was 10,000 on 1, he was going to knock people out. I don’t know if it’s even possible to knock him out, this man is a legit psycho. It would be amazing to see this man in a ring. All of this is the same for Stephen Jackson who was right next to Ron Artest. I tried to embed a video of the Malice In The Palace, but YouTube is a bunch of baby back bitches, and age restricted all of the videos. So here’s the link. https://youtu.be/ONfKrtMCUXc
- Mike Scott: Mike Scott just looks like a bad motherfucker, and there is videos to back that up. A couple of years ago Mike Scott was wearing a Washington Football jersey at an Eagles tailgate. First of all horrible move as an Eagles scumbag we aren’t afraid to throw snowballs at Santa do you really think that Eagles fans won’t fight a 76er player. Anyway Mike Scott was handing out lefts and rights with ease, as it didn’t matter how many people tried to hold him back. I think that he would do the same in a boxing ring. The addition of his 6’8″ frame he could be an awesome boxer.
4. Bobby Portis: This man broke his teammates face with one single punch. In 2017 when Portis was on the Bulls he got into a scuffle with his teammate Nikola Mirotic. Well things escalated quickly and Portis threw a punch that knocked Mirotic the fuck out, and broke his face.
Ever since then Portis has been known to be a badass in the NBA, and somebody who would be awesome to see in a boxing ring. That relationship between Portis and Mirotic never healed, and after a couple of months Mirotic was traded to the Pelicans.
5. Morris Twins: Marcus and Markieff Morris are the kings of hold me back guys, hold me back I’m gonna fuck this guy up. I just watched a 10 minute YouTube clip of them getting in “alterations” and I have to say that there wasn’t a single punch thrown. Just a lot of pushing and being held back. Before I actually looked them up I figured they would be much higher on this list. It seems like every season they’re getting fined or suspended because of fighting, but it’s always just tough guy pushing.
There’s of course the insane athletes like LeBron James, and Russell Westbrook who would be great at any sport they chose to dedicate themselves. There’s no way that those players will ever step into a ring. These are the 5 players who I could see actually stepping into a ring for a big pay day after they retire from the NBA. If NBA players are going to get knocked the fuck out like Nate Robinson did then I’m fine with these crazy exhibition matches. There just needs to be a real life Celebrity Death Match.
