How To Survive Week 2 Of Your Survivor League

So if you listened to me last week and took the Bills we are still alive.

Week 1 of any pool is always the most nerve racking. You hope to god that people believed in Philip Rivers, and are already knocked out. Especially this season with no pre season this was the first time seeing these teams actually play. We stayed away from new head coaches, new quarterbacks, and teams that had a huge overhaul. Now here is where you need to get into the real nitty gritty.

First of all don’t go all in on what you saw in week 1. Are the Eagles a dumpster fire team? No, but remember super biased here. Is Mitch Trubisky actually good? Meh we need to see more than one 4th quarter to actually figure that out. Are the Jets, and Giants really that bad? Well in that case I have to say yeah.

Here’s what you need to know going into week 2. Once again we are going to look at the highest favorites, and try to make our decision from there. Remember you can find all of these odds, and actually gamble on these teams at https://mybookie.ag/sportsbook/nfl/ The most favored teams for week 2 are Chiefs -420, Bucs -370, Titans -360, 49ers -350, Ravens -335, and Packers -280.

I don’t trust the 49ers Jimmy G looked like he quarantined with a pornstar, and was exhausted from all of the fucking, Kittle is out, and the defense doesn’t look as sharp as it did last year. Tom Brady looked like he was about 60 out there, and we already have some feuding with Arians and Brady after week 1. So Bucs are out in my opinion. The Titans play the Jags and I’m deeply afraid of Moonshine Minshew. I also think that I’m going to need the Chiefs, and the Ravens later in the season so I’m staying away from both of them this weekend. That really only leaves me with the Packers, and another team I’m thinking about is the Bears.

The Bears are -240 against the Giants. Last week Mitch did look amazing, and I know it was for only one quarter, but it’s not like the Giants defense is anything to get excited about. It is nice to get the mediocre teams out of the way in the beginning of the season, but the Bears do play the Jags in week 16, and the Jags might be in full tank mode then. So I think we can keep the Bears for later in the season.

So this week I’m taking the Packers over the Lions. The Lions are not good, sure Matthew Stafford is a decent quarterback that by the end of his career will have every Lions record. Their defense is the real concern. They have no corners, and Mitch was able to carve up their defense. Can we just imagine what an angry Aaron Rodgers will do. I think the Lions will stick around in the first half, but I then see the Packers blowing them out in the second.
